Florida Food - Clear Sky Cafe breakfast

During our time staying at Clearwater we were determined to find a banging breakfast location so we headed to Clear Sky Cafe to test it out! 

You all know the feeling when you wake up on vacation and you are craving a “treat yourself dish” that starts off your day off especially epic. These beignets have you covered! They were totally awesome topped with fresh fruit, powdered sugar and a light caramel sauce.  Totally banging!! There are not many things better than a crispy and fluffy sweet combination. 

 

The avocado toast dish was exciting because it was served on Texas Toast which is not very traditional. The bread would of been perfect if it had some olive oil or butter under the avocado because it was pretty thick making it seem a little dry. The avocado was seasoned very well and the pickled onions, radishes, and tomatoes had lots of flavor. We personally think it should be served with more eggs for the amount of bread and avocado it has but overall this dish was delicious! 

 

The corned beef and eggs was very solid.  Not a traditional corned beef hash, though it wasn't actually advertised that way anyway. Clearly it was in house cooked corned beef full of flavor and tender.  Perfectly poached eggs and well seasoned potatoes rounded the plate out nicely. The biscuit was made fresh but not great,  fine but not great.

This is a great spot to take your family to eat at because they will have a menu item for many different taste buds!
