Memorable Desserts We Are Still Talking About

Starting off insanely strong with this memorable dessert board from Hall's Chophouse in Greenville, South Carolina. Pictured on the far left was a whiskey bread pudding made of sweet bread, sun-dried cherries (Ed's favorite), pecans, and a hard whiskey sauce. The perfect balance of slightly soggy and slightly crispy; with the toppings adding different textures. And served with a great amount of ice cream. This was Ed's favorite dessert on the board. In the center is a warm tollhouse cookie skillet with warm vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate ganache, and topped with powdered sugar. The cookie base was not too thin and not too thick but just right. The chocolate chips were warm, gooey. and melt in your mouth material. The ice cream was served beautifully soaking into the cookie while having a good solid amount left. This was Courtney's favorite dessert on the broad. The far right was a classic cheesecake with berries on top and a great graham cracker crust. It was not our absolute favorite of the night but it would happily satisfy a cheesecake craving.

Now let's talk about a unique cheesecake Courtney still thinks about all the time from Walter Street Oyster Bar in Corpus Christi, Texas. Courtney is a big fan of fruity flavors and this pineapple cheesecake made me want to jump up and dance; it was so delicious! The top had fresh pineapple pieces with the pineapple sauce that tasted like a delightful summer night.

The last spotlight goes to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse with their pizookies! We could not decide which ones to try so we got the trio option! We got the cookies 'n' cream flavor, the original, and the strawberry shortcake flavor. The strawberry shortcake one was Courtney's favorite and Ed loved the cookies 'n' cream one. These had the best ice cream to cookie ratio. We recommend the pizookie trio because they were a nice individual size and you can try different flavors to find your favorite. You honestly could not go wrong with any of them!
