For The Locals - Olney Station Part One

We took a Tuesday night dinner trip to Olney Station to try it for the first time. First off we thought the decor inside was perfect for the vibe of the restaurant and the staff were very friendly. This restaurant is known for their burgers; which some of our family members got and really enjoyed. We wanted to try options that were not burgers to see if their other menu items were also great. (Read the whole review to find out!)

We started off trying the deviled eggs appetizer with jumbo lump crabmeat and old bay seasoning. These were exactly what any Marylander wants for deviled eggs. The crab lumps were a great size and the old bay flavor was strong. We would order these again.

Courtney ordered the classic caesar salad with salmon on top. The presentation was lovely. The salmon was beautifully seasoned and cooked quite nicely. No one loves sauce more than Courtney but this salmon had such great flavor that it did not even need extra sauce to satisfy Courtney. The romaine was dressed with lots of creamy caesar that Courtney loved with shaved parmesan which is the best form of cheese for a salad.

Ed ordered the New York Strip garnished with chimichurri steak butter. The steak was cooked properly to the medium rare Ed desired. It was well seasoned and tender. The chimichurri added an extra piece of herb flavor.

For the curious locals... we think you should definitely give this place a try if you are in the mood for a causal and comforting night out of the house!
