Broadway Street in Nashville Tennessee Best Foods

We are starting off first with the place we ranked the best food on Broadway Street, Casa Rosa owned by Miranda Lambert. They have Tex-Mex cuisine that never disappoints! We started off with chips and salsa that were highly above average. The chips were fried lime tortilla that were served warm, salty, and fresh! The first salsa was a smoked tomato salsa that had a spicy kick Ed really enjoyed; most likely spiced with jalapeños. It was also served with a green tomatillo salsa with mild spice that was great for Courtney; tasted fresh herbs, lime, and onion. 

Courtney ordered the chicken fajitas served sizzling with fresh flour tortillas, caramelized onions, green peppers,  pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, Casa Rosa rice, and black beans. The chicken was not the boring dry grilled chicken that gets served way too often in restaurants. This chicken was topped with chimichurri, incredibly juicy, seasoned perfectly, and bursting with flavor. 

Ed ordered the shrimp fajitas that were served with the same things that were equally as flavorful. The onions and peppers were great, not over cooked, soggy or burned as they often are on fajitas. You cannot go wrong with ordering seafood or land proteins! Direct quote by Ed, “They were banging!” We are planning a trip asap to try more things on the menu! Stay tuned!
